This policy explains how Yibake ("we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you visit yibake.co.uk or buy from us. We process personal data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

Order details: your name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery address, and the items you buy.
Payment details: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Messages: anything you send through our contact form, including your name and email address.
Newsletter: your email address if you choose to join our mailing list.
Usage data: pages viewed, device and browser type, and approximate location, collected through privacy-focused analytics.

How we use it

To process, deliver and support your order (contract).
To reply to your questions and handle returns (contract and legitimate interests).
To send marketing emails, only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time (consent).
To keep our website secure, prevent fraud and improve our service (legitimate interests).
To meet our legal and accounting obligations (legal obligation).

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with the providers we need to run the shop: our payment processor (Stripe), our website hosting and email providers, and the couriers who deliver your order. We never sell your personal data.

International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for six years to meet tax and accounting requirements. Contact messages are kept for up to two years. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time.
